Labor Day is a glorious holiday because your child will be going back to school the next day. It would have been called Independence Day, but that name was already taken. ~Bill Dodds

September
Good Morning Sunshines! Welcome to September. No matter how you feel about cooler weather setting in September seems to make us all smile and breathe a sigh. My summer has been busy or I have been more scatter brained than previous years. I am looking forward to Fall.
I want to share a project with you today that I actually did several years ago, a stacked log candle holder. It makes a beautiful fireplace insert or looks great on a table. For those of you that have faux fireplaces or mantels, this would be great with those.
The logs I used were Sassafras. The mottled colors are unique.

I used three logs. Using one with a smaller diameter in the bottom back gives it the proper balance.
Just choose your desired width and have them cut to that size.
My hubby cut the circle openings with his handy dandy circle drill thingy =0). If you look inside the finished opening you can see where he screwed in long screws to hold the logs together.
Add inexpensive votive holders and candles

There you have it!
I wish you all a beautiful September Day. Till next time,
