In a time when nothing is more certain than change, the commitment of two people to one another has become difficult and rare. Yet, by it's scarcity, the beauty and value of this exchange have only been enhanced. ~ Robert Sexton
Well how the heck are ya? I, as I bet you guessed, have had a very busy summer. We just returned from our annual summer trip to New York to visit my family only this time it was to celebrate the marriage of my beautiful niece. We had a wonderful time if you call crying your eyes out on a daily/hourly basis a wonderful time. It was a very emotional week and yes, a wonderful time.
My baby girl is getting married in early September so more crying to come. Her sister is planning a retro house wife bridal shower so you can expect to see a post on that coming up. It should be full of fun ideas and home made goodness.
Today I just wanted to share a few photos of my summer front garden. I took most of these a couple weeks ago. I know, what have I been doing for the last two weeks?????? Well, honestly I don't know. Just stuff, lots of stuff.
I hope your summer has been great so far. Later on this week I will be sharing some more summer pics of the potager (kitchen garden) and the critters. Have a beautiful day!
